Position Summary The Rebar Fabrication / Fab Shop Employee is responsible for assisting with the fabrication, handling, organization, and preparation of reinforcing steel and materials in a shop environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, dependability, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Schedule 40+ hours per week Must be willing and available to work overtime and weekends as needed based on workload and project requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Tie and assemble reinforcing steel (rebar) according to project specifications. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials throughout the fabrication shop. Assist with general fabrication shop duties and material handling. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly organize and maintain shop materials and equipment. Complete, maintain, and organize required paperwork and documentation. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and instructions. Work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers to complete assigned tasks. Perform additional duties and general labor tasks as needed to support shop operations. Qualifications & Requirements Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Ability to safely perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, and handling materials. Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and overhead cranes. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive, professional attitude. Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and assist wherever needed. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required. Previous rebar, fabrication, construction, forklift, or crane experience is preferred but not required.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
