Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and motivated Steel Erector/Welder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will build the structural "skeleton" for commercial and industrial buildings. It involves lifting, positioning, and securing steel columns, beams, and girders safely and accurately according to blueprints. It requires travelling between job locations between California and Nevada.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and site plants. Rig, hoist, and guide steel components into place using cranes and forklifts. Align, level, and connect steel members using bolts, weld-ups, or drift pins. Work at great heights on ladders, scaffolds, and structural beams. Follow strict OSHA and site-specific safety rules. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

Experience :

Minimum of 1 to 3 years of firsthand experience in structural or pre-engineered metal building erection. Experienced and qualified in AISC fabrication, erection, complex coatings with seismic endorsement work environment. Certifications and valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is preferred. Certified

Physical Strength:

Must possess the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 lbs.) and perform strenuous physical labor. Must be comfortable working on elevated platforms, scissors lifts, and open steel framing. A valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation to job sites is highly required.
