Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure Kinkisharyo standards of safety and quality are followed on all work performed. Ensure to maintain neat and clean work areas. Report any shortages, discrepancies, damaged, defective parts/items or problem in timely manner. Ensure the work performed meets quality standards. Responsible for not damaging products, parts, vehicle etc. Perform re-works on squawks as needed. Perform work per Work Instructions or Engineering Notice/Engineering Investigation Notice. Understand and follow blueprints, work instructions, Customer guidelines and specifications. Will be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalent. Professional demeanor and ability to work with teams. Ability to follow directions and instructions from leads, foremen, supervisors, managers, and other members of production team. Ability to successfully pass background, drug, and physical screenings. Must have general knowledge of mechanical components. Knowledge and experience using electrician tools: wire crimpers (Manual, Electric, Pneumatic and Hydraulic), Wire Stripper, cutters, Heat Gun, DVM, schematics, etc. Must be able to read and interpret and work from schematics and work instructions. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Stooping, bending, overhead reaching and standing for long period of time. Must be willing and able to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. Excellent communication skills. Previous experience working with fabrications, assembly, and terminations. Prefer previous experience in rail car or aircraft assembly plant. Prefer previous experience of dressing bundles of wires. Prefer previous experience of assembling cannon type connector, Harting connector, Quadrax connectors, etc. Prefer previous experience with crimping terminal from AWG24 to 373MCM. Ability to consistently adhere to company policies and procedures.
