Quick Quack Car Wash's manufacturing facility is seeking a full-time Fabricator. We are looking for a motivated and eager individual to work in a fast-paced, diverse, and deadline-oriented environment. Good attitude and a great work ethic a must. Meticulous attention to detail and a strong desire to learn are equally important. Must be flexible and team oriented. Must be available 40 hours per week.

Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week (5:00am-1:30pm Mon-Fri)

RATE:

Compensation based on experience and performance.

DUTIES/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Effective communicator and team player with the ability to multitask, follow work instruction and maintain both accountability and accurate work documentation through a start-to-finish fabrication process
• Ability to read shop drawings
• Interpretation of manuals, design specifications, blueprints, SAE and metric drawings
• Ability to independently utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills as necessary
• Perform standard shop math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Use and knowledge of all core fabrication tools to grind, cut, trim, and be able to weld objects to dimensions, as required by purchase or work orders within a strict tolerance
• Knowledge and familiarity with all basic shop tools and maintenance. Ability to use a grinder
• Ability to identify fabrication materials
• Inspection of both raw material and finished product for conformance to specifications
• Effective communication and organization skills
• Maintain a SAFE, clean and organized workspace
• Attention to detail, precise measurement, and strong finishing skills, all while holding a strict QC standard
• Accurately use and ability to read a tape measure
• Knowledge of waterjet operation and CNC routing a plus
• Forklift and rigging experience a plus
• Experience working in a shop environment with an awareness of safety practices and procedures a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Heavy lifting required; over 75 pounds

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• 5 years' fabricator experience
• Metal Preparation
• Basic welding knowledge.

Must have experience with hand tools, grinders, Portaband saw, speed square, and ability to read a tape measure
