Pay:
$25- 35/hour, based on experience and qualifications

This position is for L.A. City Certified Welders ONLY. Applicants must currently hold a valid L.A. City Structural Steel Semi-Automatic (FCAW) Welder Certification.DO NOT APPLY
if you do not currently have an L.A. City Semi-Automatic Welder Certification. Requirements- Current L.A. City Structural Steel
- Semi-Automatic (FCAW) Welder Certification
REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years of structural/field welding experience preferred
- Strong experience with Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
- Ability to read and understand structural steel drawings, shop drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols
- Experience with structural steel erection, field fit-up, layout, and fabrication
- Working knowledge of common fabrication and shop equipment, including:
- Horizontal bandsaw
- Mag drill
- Drill press
- Grinders and other power/hand tools
- Experience operating:
- Forklifts
- Telehandlers
- Scissor lifts
- Boom lifts/aerial work platforms
- Basic knowledge of crane operations, rigging, signaling, and safe material handling
- Ability to properly select and use common rigging equipment, including slings, shackles, chokers, and chain hoists
- Comfortable working at heights and in active construction environments
- Must understand jobsite safety procedures and work well as part of an erection/fabrication crew
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently when required Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Forklift/telehandler certification
- MEWP/aerial lift certification
- Additional AWS or L.A. City welding certifications
- Structural steel erection experience
- Experience with field layout, bolting, connecting, and miscellaneous metals
- Experience working around cranes and performing structural steel rigging What We're Looking For We're looking for a well-rounded field welder/fabricator, not someone who only welds.
Compensation:
$25- 35 per hour depending on experience, certifications, and overall skill level.
Pay:
$25.00- $35.
