New Steel has expertise with residential and commercial projects and has conducted work across sectors including real estate development, healthcare, industrial, retail, transportation, and telecommunications. We are seeking

WELDERS / IRON WORKERS / HELPERS

to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble structural steel.

Responsibilities:

Install structural steel members- columns, beams, trusses, stairs Perform full penetration welds, weld in 2G, 3G and 4G positions Install handrails and guardrails Follow blueprints to meet jobsite specifications Operating equipment-

Forklifts, Gradalls, Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts Qualifications:

Previous experience in structural welding, tig welding or other related fields Familiarity with welding tools and procedures Familiarity with shop drawings and blueprints Ability to handle physical workload Projects include structural steel, misc. steel, ladders, stairs, and railings. The qualified applicant shall have experience with the following Structural Steel, Misc. Steel, Fit up, Welding, Shop Drawings, FCAW.

WELD TEST WILL BE GIVEN AT TIME OF INTERVIEW
