Requirements & Qualifications Certification:

Active OSHA Certification (OSHA 10) is required. Aerial Lift (MEWP) Training is required.

OSHA/ANSI/ITSDF

Telehandler Training (not required, but preferred)

OSHA/ANSI/CSA

Overhead Crane/Hoist Training (not required, but preferred)

Experience:

Proven experience in metal construction, metal building erection, or heavy framing roles. Other relevant experience will be considered.

Core Skills:

Problem-solving skills, ability to work well in a team, with attention to detail.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with standard construction hand tools and power tools. Ability to read blueprints accurately.

Physical Demands:

Regularly perform heavy lifting (up to 50+ lbs) and conduct strenuous physical labor in varying outdoor weather conditions.

Travel & Licensing:

Valid Driver's License (Required). Access to transportation (Required). 100% willingness to travel nationally "on the road" (Required for continued employment). About the Role We are seeking a skilled Metal Construction Installer to join our traveling national crew at Daytona Beach, Florida. In this role, you will assemble, install, and secure structural metal frameworks for commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects. This employment opportunity is specifically for the duration of our Daytona Beach, FL project. The right candidate may be offered continued employment at the end of this project. Continued employment requires 100% travel , with all lodging costs fully covered and provided by the company .

Duties & Responsibilities Assembly & Erection:

Assemble, and erect structural metal components including steel frameworks, roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work.

Rigging & Positioning:

Guide and position large metal pieces into place utilizing cranes, hoists, and heavy equipment according to design layouts.

Securing:

Fasten metal components permanently using bolts, or screws, as required to ensure strict structural integrity.

Blueprint Interpretation:

Read, interpret, and work directly from blueprints, sketches, architectural designs, and engineering specifications.

Finish & Fixture Work:

Install required architectural fixtures and fittings, including heavy-duty door handles, locks, hinges, and closures.

Maintenance & Repair:

Diagnose, repair, or restore damaged metal structures by replacing defective components.

Compensation & Benefits Pay:

Starting at $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Lodging Provided:

100% of hotel/lodging accommodations are paid for and arranged directly by the company while on the road.

Schedule & Work Logistics Job Types:

Full-time, Contract, Temporary Schedule:

8 to 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (Day shift only, No nights ), occasional weekend work opportunities.
