Job Description
The Fabricator III will be responsible for the prioritization of fabrication and throughput of Quality Products and Inventory Shipments communicating directly with and working closely with the Production Team and Production Team Leader. This position will assist the production team to meet their weekly production schedule. This position reports directly to the Director of Production, and will be the key point to reducing time and inefficiencies in the production process. Essential Functions The following essential functions are primary job duties that the Fabricator III must be able to perform unassisted or with minimal assistance. This is a fast-paced position that requires teamwork within multiple departments to achieve daily goals.
- Fabricate quality products by assembling components, including Welding, Sanding & Polishing & verifying specifications by examining for correct fit, finish of parts and as a whole
- Resolves assembly problems creatively to meet specifications, notifying supervisor of needed alterations or problems.
- Keeps equipment operational with the team completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by setting an ongoing team cleaning schedule and helping the team comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Well rounded & experienced utilizing power tools and machinery working with metal material.
- Proficient in reading and understanding measuring devices utilizing fractions such as tape measures.
- Good time management skills, high work ethics
