Full Job Description Structural Steel Fitter/Fabricator Location:

Full Time Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fitter/Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the fabrication of various types of weldments in the structural steel, bridge, and storage tank industry. This position requires a strong understanding of D1.1, D1.5, ASME, and API codes.
Essential Functions:
Support all TTI/FSS Company and OSHA Safety Policies to ensure compliance. Read and interpret structural steel fabrication drawings and fabricate weldments, components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies from drawings. Understand and interpret weld symbols and perform layouts on structural steel materials for cutting and fabrication. Utilize grinders, squares, tape measures, torches, plasma cutters, and other hand and power tools commonly used in structural fabrication/fitting. Adhere to D1.1, D1.5, ASME, and API codes.
Quality Standards:
Read and understand drawings, codes, and specifications, ensuring all established fabrication procedures are followed. Work in an open-air environment during various weather conditions. Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, stooping, bending, lifting, and reaching.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to perform each essential duty above average and consistently represent the company in a professional manner. Read and interpret D1.1 and D1.5 Blueprints Education and/or
Experience:
HSD or equivalent Preferred 2+ years of verifiable experience in structural steel fabrication (Required).
