About the Position Join a leading construction team as a Steel Erection Assembly Specialist , where your craftsmanship helps shape bridges, storage tanks, and large-scale structural projects. This is more than a job — it's a trade built on skill, precision, and pride in quality work. As part of ZenTech Consulting's structural steel division, you'll lay out, fabricate, and assemble complex steel structures that stand the test of time. Ideal candidates are experienced ironworkers or welders who thrive in fast-paced field environments and are passionate about building safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble structural steel components for bridges, tanks, and industrial structures. Interpret blueprints and follow layout specifications to ensure precise assembly. Engage in architectural and ornamental ironwork to meet design and aesthetic requirements. Work collaboratively with other crew members and foremen to complete projects safely and on time. Maintain a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship on every job. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 5-50+ lbs regularly. Comfortable with kneeling, bending, stooping, climbing, and working at heights . Strong balance, coordination, and grip strength for rigging and assembly work. Excellent vision, hearing, and communication skills to ensure jobsite safety. Must be able to work in outdoor environments with exposure to weather, smoke, and dust. Qualifications Prior experience in structural steel erection, welding, or fabrication required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings . OSHA certification or rigging credentials are a plus. Strong understanding of jobsite safety protocols and fall protection requirements. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various job sites. Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
