We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Stick Welder to join our team. This role involves performing metal fabrication tasks in various outdoor and on-site environments, requiring precision and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding metal materials according to technical specifications, interpreting detailed drawings, and ensuring quality workmanship in a dynamic field setting. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that demand strong craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Execute welding tasks using stick welding techniques on a variety of metal materials in the field. Fabricate and assemble metal components based on technical drawings and specifications. Measure and mark materials accurately using appropriate measuring instruments to ensure precise fabrication. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide welding and fabrication processes. Maintain safety protocols at all times during field operations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment. Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and compliance with project requirements. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain equipment, tools, and workspace in clean and safe condition. Must pass Stick weld test Experience Proven experience as a stick welder in a field or outdoor environment preferred. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and techniques. Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately. Familiarity with different types of metal materials commonly used in fabrication projects. Shift may vary. This is a position that is day and night shift. Must be flexible with your work schedule. Lots of Overtime.

Day shifts:

6:00am-3:00pm

Night Shifts:

7:00pm-5:00am sometimes even later. Great schedule but not for anyone. Please only apply if you are okay with rotating schedule.

Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 per week
