Job Description
Position Summary The Fabrication Technician is responsible for manufacturing high-quality components used in Trimax mowers. This role involves cutting, welding, forming, and assembling metal parts according to engineering specifications while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble mower components using welders, plasma cutters, press brakes, saws, and other fabrication equipment. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to produce accurate parts. Perform MIG welding on mild steel and other materials as required. Set up, operate, and maintain fabrication machinery and tooling. Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure compliance with quality specifications. Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily output goals. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company safety policies. Identify opportunities to improve fabrication processes and product quality. Assist with material handling, including loading/unloading steel, parts, and assemblies. Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and report any maintenance needs.
