Job Description
We build cylindrical tanks (non-code) that are mounted up on structural steel support stands. We are trying to fill an entry level position to MIG weld the structural steel support stands out of tubing, channel, H beam, and angle. We are looking for someone with the ability to learn more and move into tank welding.
- MIG welding experience
- Plasma torch (handheld) experience
- Oxy-acetylene experience
- Blueprint reading experience
- Confident using a tape measure
- Basic math skills (fractions, dividing in half, adding in 1/16" increments, etc.)
- Experience welding on carbon steel structural components
