Full Job Description Rate of Pay:
$27.00 to $33.00 per hour (paid weekly).
Overtime Rate:
$40.50 to $49.50 per hour. 2nd
Shift Schedule:
Monday thru Friday; 3:45pm to 12:15am. 10+ hours of overtime consistently available; paid breaks.
JOB SUMMARY
MAAC is looking for a strong and experienced fabricator who could transition into a lead role. The Senior Fabricator is a full-time teammate who can lead and assist team members to meet production goals with a focus on quality and precision. The primary tasks consist of building machine frames and components out of structural steel and tearing down completed machines in preparation for painting and shipping. This person must have the ability to read complex blueprints and build high-precision components. Will follow up on assignments to assure quality standards and production timelines are met. Fabrication/welding and continual learning of machine designs and components. Lead and coordinate fabrication, welding, and component assembly tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and related drawings. Utilize MIG welding along with fabrication tools and equipment. Perform measurements to ensure precision. Train and mentor co-workers to become better fabricators and welders. Assure quality of manufactured and assembled items. Remain on target with operational schedules and company objectives. Complete job documentation and communicate issues to supervisor. Communicate with peers to maximize workflow efficiencies. Maintain a safe working environment free of hazards and equipment concerns. Typical workload is 80% Fabrication and 20% Welding

DESIRED SKILLS
Minimum of 4 years of fabrication experience with various metals. Can communicate, problem-solve and have strong attention to detail. Ability to prepare work plans and fabrication layouts. Can confidently read and interpret engineering blueprints. Proficient in welding and fabrication skills. Safety-first commitment to follow company and OSHA requirements. Ability to safely handle heavy materials in an industrial setting. Working knowledge of saw, shear, drill press, forklift and overhead crane are all a plus. Bilingual applicants encouraged (English + Spanish).
