Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable TIG Welder with experience welding stainless steel for precision fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sanitary TIG welding, blueprint reading, fabrication, and producing high-quality welds that meet strict cosmetic and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Responsibilities Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel components. Weld materials to meet strict quality, cosmetic, and dimensional requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, engineering drawings, and fabrication specifications. Perform layout, fitting, measuring, and assembly of stainless steel components prior to welding. Grind, polish, and finish welds to meet customer and quality expectations. Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications and quality standards. Operate TIG welding equipment, grinders, polishers, and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently. Perform fit-up, alignment, and assembly of fabricated components. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures. Work closely with fabrication, engineering, and production teams to meet production schedules. Assist with additional fabrication and manufacturing duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience . Experience welding stainless steel in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Experience with food-grade or sanitary stainless steel welding is highly preferred. Strong blueprint reading and fabrication skills. Ability to interpret welding symbols and technical drawings. Experience grinding, polishing, and finishing stainless steel welds. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
