Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw metal materials into precise, high-quality fabricated components used across various industries. Your expertise will ensure that all projects meet strict safety standards, adhere to technical specifications, and are completed efficiently. Duties Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately cut, shape, and assemble metal components Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and welding equipment such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards Measure and mark materials using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure precise fabrication according to specifications Cut, bend, weld, solder, and assemble sheet metal and other metal materials while maintaining strict quality control standards Use crane and other lifting equipment safely during the handling of heavy or large metal parts on construction sites or within the shop environment Adhere to safety protocols at all times by following OSHA guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, welding logs, and fabrication documentation Qualifications Proven construction site experience or fabrication shop experience demonstrating mechanical knowledge and proficiency in metalworking techniques Skilled in reading blueprints, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding ASME codes & standards for fabrication projects Proficient with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers; capable of performing shop math accurately Hands-on experience with welding methods including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding; certification from AWS is preferred Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, soldering equipment, and other fabrication machinery safely and effectively Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and assembly instructions Familiarity with safety protocols related to welding operations and construction environments Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Join us if you're passionate about precision metal fabrication and eager to contribute your skills toward innovative projects.
