Our Steel Service Center is currently looking to immediately fill a Slitter Helper position due to recent volume increases and demand for our specialized products and services. Candidates must have steel slitting experience! Responsibilities and Duties Setup overarm on recoiler according to work order Setup slitter for accurate slitting according to work order Setup for burr free slitting Change slitter heads for job change over Inspection of steel for defects Qualifications and Skills Past slitting experience (3yr minimum) Must be able to work any shift (morning, afternoon, night, graveyard) High School diploma or equivalency General computer knowledge Past experience in steel warehousing Ability to operate a forklift as needed Ability to read tape measure, micrometer, and caliper Knowledge of steel related defects Team Player Benefits Competitive Benefit offerings- Health, Dental, Vision, Group Term Life, Critical, Accident, AD&D Holiday and Vacation Pay
