Welding Team Leader Job Summary:
Experienced MIG Welder responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal enclosures according to engineering drawings and quality standards. Ensures all welds meet structural and cosmetic requirements while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on steel and stainless steel enclosures and components. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings. Assemble enclosure parts using fixtures, clamps, and measuring tools. Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Grind, clean, and finish welded surfaces as required. Operate welding equipment, hand tools, grinders, and fabrication machinery safely. Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments. Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety procedures. Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing schedules. Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any issues.
Qualifications:
1+ years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment perfered. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience welding sheet metal and enclosure assemblies preferred. Knowledge of welding symbols, measurements, and fabrication techniques. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
