Duties Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately assemble metal structures according to specifications. Erect steel frameworks, including framing, metal siding, metal roofing, and trim using hand tools and power tools. Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely to lift and position structural elements. (if qualified) Conduct dimensional measurements with tape measures and other tools to ensure precise alignment of structural components. Follow safety protocols diligently while performing heavy lifting, welding, welding inspections, and site restoration activities. Experience Proven experience in metal building erection or related construction fields with a strong understanding of construction management principles. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately. Hands-on experience with , structural steel, metal siding, metal roofing, and metal trim. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation (such as cranes or forklifts), and measuring devices like tape measures. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations reliably. Demonstrated capacity for heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
