Job Description

This is a full-time year-round hourly position (3-12-hour days) with a $2 shift differential for nights and weekends. This program provides comprehensive psychiatric/crisis assessments and care to individuals ages 14+. Spurwink has opened the first Living Room Crisis model in the state of Maine. Open 24/7, 365 days a year, the center will offer a space for individuals and families to seek crisis support through the use of trained professionals, comprehensive assessments, and coordination with community supports and resources. This position includes at $5,000 sign-on bonus.
DUTIES:
Maintain client records and documentation according to Spurwink, billing, regulatory, and licensing standards including assessments, Individual Service Plans, progress notes, and quarterly reviews. Oversee implementation of Individual Service Plan, monitor and document progress. Maintain regular contact with team members and other community professionals involved with client. Identify and assess physical and behavioral health-related risk factors and ensure that clients and families are aware of all community services and resources. Assist families in accessing resources. Provide support through phone contact and face-to-face meetings through home visits and community outreach.
QUALIFICATIONS
MHRT-C certification or MHRT-C eligible, or a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor or Employment Specialist, or a Certified or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Bachelor's degree from an accredited four (4) year institution of higher learning preferred. Maintain a current Maine driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record as outlined in Spurwink's Driving Policy.
