Job description Winston Brothers is the oldest family-owned-and-operated scrap metal yard in Detroit, Michigan, and remains an industry leader for the buying, processing, and selling of all ferrous and non-ferrous metals. We are looking an experienced Torchman , and will only be considering candidates with at least one year of previous experience.

Position summary/requirements:

Have the ability to work with and maintain torch equipment. Work with other team members, keep work area clean and organized, and have good attention to detail. This position, while Torch focused, will require you to do multiple different tasks on any given day. We are looking for a jack of all trades, but with the primary focus of torching oversized material.

• Run a Torch
• Maintain torch equipment
• Operate hilo
• Ability to follow instructions
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills needed
• Ability to stand for long durations
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Basic verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills needed.
