Our facility is the producer of grab-n-go food service products and programs for leading convenient Store chains around the country. Requirements. Prepare workstations with required ingredients and equipment to meet production goals while maintaining safe and sanitary working conditions. Prepare bulk meats, vegetables, poultry, baked goods and other foods for packaging. Prepare & Mix Industrial size food batches according to recipes, including measuring, and weighing and storing. Control recipe yields to control waste and adhere to the recipe's serving size. Handle and store the finished products and ingredients in accordance with HAACP Standards including but not limited to proper food rotation. Participate in "special attention" projects for the upkeep of the commercial kitchen. Complete and submit end-of-day paperwork to Commercial Kitchen Manager for USDA, FDA, and SQF compliance. Train new team members in accordance with duties and responsibilities. Willing to learn multiple functions in the kitchen to fill workforce shortfalls including machine operating. Promote positive working relationships with colleagues for departmental success! Education & Relevant Experience Associate's or bachelor's degree in culinary or related field Minimum of 3-5 years of management and/or supervisor experience Working knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures (HACCP, FDA, etc.). Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift deadlines under time pressure. Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail, particularly around records, reporting, and compliance documentation. Comfortable working under pressure when operational needs are required. Working Relationships This role operates at the center of daily kitchen operations, coordinating closely with kitchen leadership and staff supporting departmental needs. Commercial Kitchen Manager (reports to): Provides updates on kitchen production output, and daily job duties; escalates job function errors Kitchen Staff (collaborate): Directs daily production activities, trains and mentors team members, builds schedules, ensures recipe accuracy, and manages attendance and performance.
