We are looking for a Metal Process Workers to join our Ontonagon, MI Team! The Metal Process Worker will cut and form raw materials on a variety of machines based on shop orders and print directions, demonstrates the ability to meet routed hours with acceptable quality and is responsible for meeting and demonstrating safety in the workplace..
MAJOR DUTIES
Ability to independently operate five or more of the following: burner, brake, clean/grind, hand burn, saw, shear/punch press with a high level of quality. (Burner required)
Kits and separates parts based on next operation.
Trains and mentors' peers in department.
Performs preventative maintenance on machines. (OPM's)
Basic to intermediate blueprint skills.
Basic to intermediate math skills.
Ability to make all parts efficiently within guidelines to maintain production schedule.
Ability to foresee problems and resolve them to reduce cost.
Performs basic crane operations.
Functions as a team player with co-workers and other departments.
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
6+ months of metal processing experience a plus
Manufacturing Experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to team lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds
