Blue Diamond Steel Casting is seeking Metal Fabricators/Construction Professionals for our Fabrication Department. As a Metal Fabricator/Construction professional, you will be integral to the fabrication and assembly of metal structures, reporting directly to the Construction Supervisor. Your skills will be essential in executing precise fabrication tasks to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your relevant experience with hand tools and mechanical knowledge will further enhance your contributions to the team, driving successful project outcomes in a dynamic construction environment. This is a 1st shift position .

Summary:

Safely perform day to day operations to fabricate and repair both new and used foundry equipment.

Duties and responsibilities:

Welding, cutting, fitting, installation and removal of equipment Identify, troubleshoot and maintain faulty equipment such as augers, elevators, and conveyors Perform preventative maintenance according to the Preventative Maintenance Program Safely operate mobile equipment, manlifts, cranes, and power and hand tools Lifting & climbing Perform quality work with or without direct supervision Ability to work independently or in a team environment Display a positive attitude towards safety and coworkers Use a computer to obtain and input information

Compensation:

$21 - $28 per hour, based on experience, plus benefits listed below

Requirements:

High School Diploma / G.E.D. or minimum of 1 year of previous experience in metal fabrication
