As a Quality Systems CAPA Specialist , you will partner directly with the Quality Systems Manager to maintain, optimize, and audit our Quality Management System (QMS). You will lead cross-functional corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives, driving root cause analysis, risk management, and process control across manufacturing operations. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a multi-faceted skill set to thrive.

Key Responsibilities Internal Auditing:

Conduct, report, and follow up on QMS internal audits across all production shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).

CAPA & Root Cause Analysis:

Lead and collaborate with engineering and production teams on internal and external Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

QMS Documentation Control:

Create, update, and maintain quality assurance documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance records.

Continuous Improvement:

Spearhead special quality engineering projects to streamline foundry processes, drive waste reduction, and uphold industrial standards.

Qualifications & Requirements Must-Have Experience:

Direct hands-on experience with ISO certification processes (such as

ISO 9001

2015 execution, audit preparation, or compliance maintenance).

Problem-Solving Expertise:

Demonstrated proficiency with structured problem-solving models (8D, PDCA, 5-Why, Ishikawa/Fishbone Diagrams, FMEA, or Design Thinking).

Manufacturing Background:

Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing, foundry, steel, or automotive production environment highly preferred.

Shift Flexibility:

Must be willing and flexible to divide time across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts to support auditing and quality management across all plant operations.

Communication & Tech Skills:

Strong verbal/written communication abilities; proficient with word processing, spreadsheet applications, and Google Workspace.

Transportation & Education:

Reliable transportation required. Willingness to participate in continuing education or advanced quality management training.
