Welders are responsible for fabricating and welding components to achieve customer specification. Welder classifications are established the through demonstrated ability to GMAW, GTAW, Laser weld, operate and program automated processes, and weld different metal types. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

CLASSIFICATIONS

1. Limited Experience Learning welding process 3. Operator with limited experience GMAW (Tacks, short welds, not structural), Robot weld repair and completion

•Greater than 1 year of experience 5. Operator Independently GMAW structural / leak free welds / visually appealing, GTAW basics, read prints, fabricate, understand weld symbols 7. Operator with Setup and troubleshooting Proficient

PREFERRED

RESPONSIBILITIES

Standing full shift Lift up to 30 lbs frequently (team lift weights greater than 30 lbs) Weld long distances during the work day Washington Metal Fabricators is a large contract based manufacturer located in Washington, MO.
