Clinical Support Tech

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Clinical Support Technician to join our Primary Care team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary:

This position will provide and/or support patient care by performing tasks and duties consistent with professional standards and HealthPartners policies and procedures. In addition, may function in supply aid and/or sterilization capacity by maintaining a safe work area and ensuring that it is adequately stocked, cleaned and organized. Implement cleaning and sterilizing procedures to support infection control and OSHA standards.

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

High school diploma or GED 2 years customer service experience and/or healthcare experience Complete Medical Terminology and Pharmacology online courses within six months of hire

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

Complete BLS course within 1 week of hire and maintained BLS certification in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA). No online only courses accepted.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrated organizational skills Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instruction work efficiently despite interruptions and maintain a courteous and cooperative manner Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program or currently registered as a pharmacy technician with one or more years pharmacy technician experience Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions
