Duties Design and implement engaging physical education curricula tailored to various age groups, including early childhood and elementary levels Develop lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, learning technology tools, and innovative instructional strategies Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support growth Manage classroom behavior effectively using conflict management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies Adapt activities for students with disabilities or special education needs, ensuring inclusive participation for all learners Incorporate literacy education and math concepts into physical activities where appropriate to enhance holistic learning Utilize LMS (Learning Management Systems) to track student achievements, communicate with parents, and coordinate instructional materials Foster a safe environment by implementing classroom management best practices and behavior management policies Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects such as library services integration or instructional design initiatives Provide guidance on health, wellness, and early childhood development topics to promote overall student well-being Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field; advanced certifications preferred Proven classroom experience teaching physical education across different age groups, including preschool or toddler care settings Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies such as Montessori or preschool techniques Experience working with children with disabilities or in special education settings is highly desirable Familiarity with LMS platforms, learning technology tools, and instructional design practices for engaging lesson planning Excellent communication skills for effective instruction, parent engagement, and team collaboration Demonstrated ability in curriculum development, lesson planning, behavior management, and conflict resolution Knowledge of library services or academic advising related to health education is a plus Passion for promoting active lifestyles through innovative teaching methods that motivate students of all abilities Join us in shaping the next generation of active learners!
