Description
The City of Alden seeks applicants for Chief of Police, 30 to 40 hours per week, with pro-rated benefits for a 30-hour schedule. Applicants must be POST licensed or eligible by appointment, pass a background check, psychological and physical exams, and hold a valid driver's license. The role requires flexibility for holidays, nights, and weekends. Pay is negotiable. Benefits include PERA, health, dental, life and AD&D insurance, paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation.
We seek a self-starting, energetic, community-oriented candidate with strong communication skills. Responsibilities include protecting lives and property, enforcing laws and ordinances, conducting investigations, and maintaining public order.
