Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw metal materials into precise, high-quality components and assemblies according to technical drawings and specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of durable metal products used across various industries, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every step. Responsibilities Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to determine project requirements Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal materials using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment Perform welding operations including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly Operate cranes and other lifting equipment safely to move heavy metal components within the shop or on construction sites Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols while handling hazardous materials and operating machinery Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving ductwork, sheet metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, and metal materials processing Qualifications Proven experience in metal fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment Strong knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and SMAW processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical schematics accurately Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise fabrication work Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and equipment operation including cranes and power tools Mechanical aptitude with understanding of mechanical blueprint interpretation and manufacturing principles Experience working with sheet metal fabrication, ductwork assembly, machining, soldering, plasma cutting, and assembly tasks is highly desirable Commitment to quality workmanship following AWS standards and safety regulations Join us in creating top-tier metal products that meet rigorous standards! Pay:
