DUTIES:
Participate in department and college curriculum development. Deliver classroom, web enhanced and/or online course instruction. Conduct classroom research and other assessment/evaluation activities. Mentor and advise students. Participate in committee assignments and college wide initiatives. Participate in department accreditation and review. Engage in scholarly and other professional development activities. Course assignments include day, evening, and weekend hours? and offsite locations.
•Master's degree must be completed prior to start date.
Salary:
$43,067 - $98,660 Annually; Salary placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2025 - 2027 MSCF Contract , and conducted by the Minnesota State System Office. Initial placement is limited to the step range permitted for new faculty under the MSCF salary schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education Requirement Graduate degree with a major in nursing, or Bachelor's degree in nursing and a graduate degree in support of the field of nursing and/or education A nursing program director must hold a graduate degree in nursing, nursing administration, nursing education, public health nursing or a nursing clinical specialty Occupational Experience Requirement Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse at the professional level. As a registered nurse at the professional level, experientially qualified to accomplish the mission, goals, and expected student and faculty outcomes; including experiential preparation in the areas the faculty will teach. Recency Requirement One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years. Compliance with clinical affiliate policies for attending on-site clinical teaching assignments.
Preferred Qualification:
