We're seeking an experienced Field Installer II with strong TIG welding and sanitary installation expertise to join our traveling field team. In this role, you'll work hands-on with advanced stainless systems, constructing high-performance dryer and process equipment while upholding exceptional standards of craftsmanship, safety, and quality.
What You'll Do:
As a Field Installer II, you'll play a key role in executing complex field installations: Assemble stainless steel process systems using P&IDs and detailed blueprints Perform TIG welding and sanitary tubing installations to Dahmes specifications Execute pipefitting, polishing, and sheet metal fabrication for vessels and ductwork Support rigging activities and safely operate hand and power tools Collaborate closely with supervisors and team leads to meet project timelines and quality goals
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking professionals who take pride in precision work and thrive in a team environment: Strong skills in sanitary grinding, polishing, and stainless steel fabrication Proven experience with pipefitting and sheet metal installation Familiarity with rigging tools, signaling practices, and crane or telehandler operations Solid math and problem-solving skills applied to field installations Clear communicator with a dependable, team-first work ethic
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have: High school diploma or GED Formal welding education and/or 4+ years of relevant industry experience Ability to pass random drug screenings and meet physical demands (including ladders and stairs) Valid driver's license, DOT physical clearance, and eligibility for international travel A strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
