Where You'll Work Our Rochester, MN location is part of our Applied Health and Nutrition Division, specializing in fermented ingredients for the bio-science industry. We're proud of our clean-label, natural products and our commitment to freshness and quality. Compensation Data The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. What's In It For You Looking for a stable, full-time quality lab role on nights with strong pay, bonus, and real growth opportunities? $25.00-$29.00/hr base pay + $2.00/hr night shift differential $5,000 sign-on bonus Full benefits package from day one 401K Match Up To 6% Night shift: 5:00 PM - 5:30 AMRotating shift schedule (2-2-3, every other weekend) What You'll Do As a Quality Lab Tech, you'll: Perform routine analytical laboratory testing and accurate documentation Support site Quality & Food Safety through on-floor verification activities (sanitation swabbing, CCP checks, label verification, product holds) Work cross-functionally with Production, Sanitation, Warehouse, and Quality to ensure timely and accurate results Maintain knowledge of inspection and testing procedures for Analytical, Microbiology, Sample, and Bread testing labs Ensure compliance with Kerry standards, local/state/federal regulations, and customer requirements Participate in the development of QC procedures and policies Conduct factory-based food safety and quality inspections and audits (GMP, hygiene, foreign body, layered audits) Provide guidance and support to audited departments Participate in Quality Programs (GMPs, CCPs, Allergen Control, Sanitation Excellence) Work cross-functionally to ensure prompt release of finished products and raw materials; communicate with supply chain on end dates What You'll Need To Succeed Associate or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) 0-2 years laboratory or manufacturing quality experience acceptable; 2-5 years preferred Experience with laboratory instruments, sanitation verification, and production-driven timelines preferred
