Breakfast and Lunch Provided Position Overview Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Welding Fabricator for a manufacturing operation in Neosho, MO. This position is responsible for fabricating, welding, cutting, bending, and forming metal components according to drawings, measurements, work orders, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has previous welding and metal fabrication experience, can confidently read basic blueprints and fabrication drawings, and is comfortable operating a variety of shop equipment. This position works in a TIG welding environment , although candidates with strong MIG fabrication experience are also encouraged to apply. Required Experience & Skills Previous Welding Fabricator, Metal Fabricator, or similar industrial experience Previous welding experience required MIG welding experience Ability to work effectively in a TIG welding environment Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and fabrication sketches Strong measuring and layout skills Experience using tape measures, squares, grinders, and other fabrication tools Ability to cut, bend, form, and prepare metal components Strong attention to dimensional accuracy and workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team Dependable attendance and ability to work the full assigned schedule Strong commitment to workplace safety Essential Duties & Responsibilities Fabricate metal components according to drawings and work orders Perform welding operations in a TIG welding environment Measure and lay out materials before fabrication Cut materials according to required dimensions Bend and form metal components Operate fabrication machinery and shop equipment Assemble fabricated components according to specifications Read and follow fabrication drawings and sketches Verify dimensions throughout the fabrication process Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy Identify fabrication or dimensional concerns Communicate production issues to supervisors and team members Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Follow all company safety and production procedures Perform additional welding and fabrication duties as assigned Welding Responsibilities Candidates may perform or work around: TIG welding MIG welding Tack welding Fabrication fit-up Metal preparation Grinding and finishing Component assembly TIG or Stick welding experience is a plus.
