Join a dynamic team as a Journeyman Pipefitter, where you'll engage in a hands-on role supporting a variety of industrial manufacturing projects in the St. Peters, MO area. You will work on high-purity process lines and general utility support systems, collaborating closely with skilled professionals to ensure precise layout, fit-up, and safety in every installation. Your expertise in blue-print reading, pipe prep, and sanitary tubing fit-up will be essential as you tackle diverse challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, bevel, face, and fit carbon steel, stainless steel pipe, and thin-wall sanitary tubing across various diameters to meet exact project specifications. Set up internal argon back-purging dams and systems on high-purity lines to ensure root-pass integrity for down-hand welders. Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and blueprints to calculate take-offs, offsets, and execute complex piping modifications accurately. Assist in setting modular equipment skids, hanging pipe supports, and aligning flanges for optimal performance and line leveling. Ensure all fit-ups meet strict squareness and alignment standards for visual inspection and downstream NDT/X-ray testing while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Industrial Pipefitter in manufacturing or process plant environments, demonstrating hands-on layout expertise. Ability to pass a jobsite practical fitting, layout, and isometric reading test prior to work assignment. Proficiency in thin-wall stainless steel and sanitary tubing prep, including zero-gap facing and purge dam setups. Strong skills in reading piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and calculating pipe offsets and rolling offsets. Must possess standard pipefitter trade tools (wraparound, level, square, center finder, hand tools, and measuring devices). Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolds, or elevated work platforms, ensuring safety and efficiency on the job.
