Travel Industrial TIG Welders Tradewinds Support Partners, LLC Raleigh, NC Job Details Up to $38 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) Full Job Description We're looking for experienced TIG Pipe Welders who can perform high‑quality welds on stainless and carbon steel in the 6G position. If you're confident in your pipe welding abilities and want steady, long‑term work with a solid team, we want to talk to you. What You'll Be Doing
- TIG welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipe
- Working on schedule 80 pipe in various diameters
- Performing precision welds in the 6G position
- Supporting industrial, mechanical, and specialty alloy projects
- Following all safety, quality, and shop standards Required Weld Tests (Must Pass to Be Certified With Us) You will be required to complete and pass X‑ray inspection on:
- 2½" Sch 80 Stainless Steel
- TIG•6G • 2½" Sch 80 Carbon Steel•TIG•6G Passing these tests qualifies you as a certified welder for our shop.
- ½" Sch 80 Stainless Steel
- TIG•6G • ½" Sch 80 Carbon Steel•TIG•6G • 6" Sch 80 Carbon Steel•Stick (6010 root / 7018 fill & cap)•6G • Specialty alloy TIG welds (Inconel, Duplex, etc.
- Strong TIG pipe welding experience
- Ability to weld in all positions, especially 6G
- Clean, consistent welds that pass X‑ray
- Reliable, safety‑minded, and able to work independently
- Experience with stainless, carbon, and (bonus) exotic alloys
