Responsibilities of the Fabrication Mechanic (Trim Cut Finisher) Fabricate rigid and flexible metal tubing Set up and operate various equipment (e.g., abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment) Perform visual and dimensional tests on materials, assemblies, tube details, components, and finished products Inspect and test components, parts, tube details, and assemblies to validate conformance to specifications Maintain accurate mylar fixtures Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and salvage parts from assemblies, and repair assemblies, fixtures, equipment, and products Perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications of the Fabrication Mechanic (Trim Cut Finisher) High school diploma or

GED, 1-3

months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong math and computer skills Knowledge of GD&T Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use micrometers and vernier calipers Ability to problem solve and adapt to changing priorities Team player who can work well independently This Fabrication Mechanic position works Monday through Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm.
