As soon as possible About La Forge de Style US La Forge de Style US specializes in high-end custom architectural metalwork and handcrafted metal furnishings. Since 2002, we have worked with leading architects, interior designers, and contractors on projects ranging from architectural railings and staircases to custom doors, decorative elements, and furniture. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Architectural and Furniture Metal Fabricator to join our workshop in South Hackensack, NJ. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently from shop drawings and raw materials through final completion. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret architectural, Furniture and shop drawings. Measure, lay out, mark, and cut raw materials. Fabricate, fit, and assemble architectural metalwork. TIG and MIG welding. Grind, sand, and pre-finish fabricated pieces. Inspect finished work for accuracy, alignment, fit, and quality. Operate shop machinery and hand tools and know their way around the shop. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in metal fabrication, preferably in architectural or custom metalwork. OSHA training or certification is an asset.

Preferred:

Experience with brass and bronze fabrication and welding, ornamental metalwork, and metal finishing.

Language Skills English:

working proficiency required. Compensation & Benefits $25-$30/hour to start, depending on experience and skills, medical after 3 months, 401(k) plan after a year. Location La Forge de Style US South Hackensack, New Jersey On-site workshop position.
