JOB SUMMARY
The Metal Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and assembling architectural metal components using shop drawings and standard fabrication practices. This role supports production by delivering quality work while developing advanced fabrication skills.
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fabricate metal components using steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Perform MIG welding and basic TIG welding Read and interpret shop drawings with minimal supervision Cut, grind, fit, and assemble parts accurately Operate shop equipment (saws, grinders, drill press, etc.) Maintain quality standards and follow specifications Support senior fabricators on complex assemblies Maintain a clean and safe work environment An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3-7 years of metal fabrication experience Proficiency in MIG welding; basic TIG preferred Ability to read shop drawings and perform standard layouts Experience with common fabrication tools and equipment Strong attention to detail and reliability
