Help Wanted:
Full-Time Metal shop Assistant Responsibilities include:- Maintain a clean and orderly shop environment
- Running errands and sourcing materials
- Perform basic metalworking operations such as cutting, drilling, finishing and welding
- Assist with building custom metalwork
- Learn basic blacksmithing skills and other skilled metalworking techniques Why Join Us?

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in metal fabrication or related construction industry
- Must be precise and accurate with a tape measure
- Some field work is required. Applicant must have no physical imitations that prevent them from lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Applicant must have a valid driver's license
- Basic machining, construction or carpentry skills is a plus but not required. Located in Bayport, NY Compensation includes,
- 6 paid holidays
- 401k with up to 3% company match
- 1 week paid sick days
- Up to 2 weeks of paid vacation
- Hourly rate is dependent upon experience generally between $18-27/per hour
