Help Wanted:

Full-Time Metal shop Assistant Responsibilities include:

• Maintain a clean and orderly shop environment
• Running errands and sourcing materials
• Perform basic metalworking operations such as cutting, drilling, finishing and welding
• Assist with building custom metalwork
• Learn basic blacksmithing skills and other skilled metalworking techniques Why Join Us?

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in metal fabrication or related construction industry
• Must be precise and accurate with a tape measure
• Some field work is required. Applicant must have no physical imitations that prevent them from lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Applicant must have a valid driver's license
• Basic machining, construction or carpentry skills is a plus but not required. Located in Bayport, NY Compensation includes,
• 6 paid holidays
• 401k with up to 3% company match
• 1 week paid sick days
• Up to 2 weeks of paid vacation
• Hourly rate is dependent upon experience generally between $18-27/per hour

Pay:

$18.00 - $27.00 per hour
