Job Description

onsemi is seeking a reliable and motivated Central Utility Plant (CUP) Operator to support our site, Hopewell Junction, the safe and efficient operation of our facility's utility systems. This role is ideal for candidates looking to grow their career in facilities operations while working a compressed work week on the night shift . The operator will assist in monitoring and operating critical infrastructure, including boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and associated equipment. Night 2: 6:30 PM-7:00 AM Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, e/o Saturday, extra 15% night shift differential Sign on bonus: $5,000
Sign-On Bonus:
Subject to your commencing employment with us, you will also be eligible to receive a sign on award in the gross amount of $5,000, which will be paid in 4 quarterly payments of $1,250 each (subject to applicable taxes and payroll deductions). The first payment is payable within the first (30) days of you joining onsemi and quarterly thereafter for 3 additional payments. You must be an active employee with onsemi to receive these sign on awards. In addition, if your employment is terminated with onsemi for any reason, the sign on award(s) received as of the date of your termination do not need to be repaid to onsemi Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred) Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn plant operations Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts on a rotating schedule Employees in this role may be required to participate in the site Emergency Response Brigade and support emergency preparedness activities. Participation includes maintaining required training, certifications, and response readiness in accordance with site policies and business needs.
Hourly:
onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $21.20 to $36.92 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. We also offer a competitive benefits package.
