Fabrication Foreman Juniper Industries, a leading manufacturer of sheet metal and plate products is seeking an experienced Fabrication Foreman for a challenging position leading manufacturing of mass production and custom products. This role involves hands on involvement/oversight of our expanding fabrication departments including punching, plasma, brake work, welding, and assembly to meet our growing demand!

Job Responsibilities:

Hands on running of designated department in accordance with Production Manager's goals and expectations

Job Duties:

• Select best method of fabrication for each job
• Assign work to fabricators and welders
• Set up fabrication equipment and monitor usage
• Train department employees on all designated equipment
• Supervision of department employees ensuring efficient through-put
• Ensure that production stays on schedule
• Suggest ways to streamline the production process
• Work with Quality Control inspector to ensure products meet or exceed specification
• Monitor department workers and programs to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (Associates Degree from technical school a plus)
• Five Years' Minimum Experience in Running a Manufacturing/Fabricating Department
• Experience reading and understanding mechanical drawings
• Metal fabrication experience with Brake Forming, Punching, Welding, Assembly, Jigs and Fixtures
• Ability to identify materials types
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 75 pounds
• Good basic math skills
• Excellent manual dexterity
• Use of appropriate PPE (Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoes, Gloves, Clothing)
• Good communication skills
• Computer Experience a plus
