Job Description

Metal Fabricator- Sheet Metal Leading 98-year-old, New York Metal Fabrication Company is seeking a

Metal Fabricator Job Duties:

Operate fabrication equipment (Power brakes, Shears, Rollers)
Mark Cutting and bending lines
Fabricate and assemble parts - general sheet metal and metal plate parts
Complete assigned jobs according to schedule
Maintain work area cleanliness and safety
Report errors or issues to

Foreman Qualifications:

High School Diploma or experience in related field
Minimum 5 years metal fabrication experience
Experience reading and understanding mechanical drawings
Experience with Shearing, Brake Forming, Punching, Rolling, Riveting, Seaming
Ability to read measuring tools including tape measures and gauges
Ability to identify materials types
Use of appropriate PPE (Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoes, Gloves, Clothing As Directed)
Good basic math skills
Excellent manual dexterity
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds
Able to work
