This is a hands-on fabrication position working on a wide range of custom commercial signage, with a strong emphasis on monument signs, architectural signage, campus and facility wayfinding systems, post-and-panel systems, and other custom fabricated sign structures. Our projects range from everyday commercial signage to complex, multi-sign projects for campuses, healthcare facilities, corporate environments and other large properties. What You'll Do
  • Fabricate monument signs, architectural signage, campus wayfinding systems, directional signage, posts and panels, and custom sign structures
  • Fabricate aluminum and steel frames, cabinets, posts, supports and structural components
  • MIG weld, cut, grind, drill, form and assemble aluminum and steel components
  • Work from design drawings, shop drawings and engineered plans
  • Work with aluminum, steel, ACM, acrylic, polycarbonate and other common sign materials
  • Build both illuminated and non-illuminated sign systems
  • Fabricate channel letters, sign cabinets and dimensional signage as projects require
  • Coordinate with designers, engineers, project managers and installers
  • Consider installation requirements during fabrication and identify potential field issues before they become problems
  • Maintain high standards for fit, finish, structural integrity and overall appearance Experience We're Looking For Previous sign fabrication experience is strongly preferred.
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience building monument signs, wayfinding systems, architectural signage, post-and-panel systems and other custom fabricated commercial signs. Strong welding and general metal-fabrication skills are highly valued. Experience with channel letters, LED lighting, sign wiring or other electrical components is a plus , but electrical experience is not the primary focus of this position. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who understands fabrication and can read drawings, think through how something should be built, solve problems and produce quality work.
