• $20 to $25 per hour We're building AI-native factories capable of lights-out production, from CAD to finished part with minimal human input.

The focus is energy and infrastructure: power generation, grid infrastructure, and compute facilities, where steel fabrication bottlenecks are limiting growth. The shop is set up, customers are on the books, and we're scaling the production team now. This is a hands-on, early-career role focused on robotic welding and precision steel fabrication. You'll work alongside experienced fabricators and engineers, get real exposure to advanced manufacturing systems, and build your skills fast through actual production work. What You'll Do Assist with fitting and tacking structural steel components (skids, frames, e-houses) under the direction of senior fabricators, with close attention to dimensional accuracy Learn to operate and monitor robotic welding cells: loading fixtures, watching weld cycles, and understanding how to tune for quality and throughput Perform grinding and finishing work on welded components to prepare parts for paint or further processing Learn manual MIG repair on minor defects, and learn when to escalate to a senior fabricator Conduct visual inspections and learn to identify common weld defects like porosity, undercut, and lack of fusion Support material handling, fixture setup, tool organization, and general shop operations Work with engineers and senior fabricators to troubleshoot issues and improve processes What You Bring 2 years of welding or fabrication experience, or a recent graduate of a welding/fabrication program with some industry exposure Basic proficiency in GMAW or FCAW (MIG) welding on structural steel Familiarity with measuring tools, blueprints, and basic shop math Interest in learning robotic systems and automation; no prior robotics experience required We consider equivalent experience.
