You will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for safety and high-caliber metal craftsmanship in an advanced shop environment. How You Will Make an Impact Perform precise layout and fitup for complex stainless steel weldments to meet exact project specifications. Execute high-quality TIG and MIG welds primarily on stainless steel materials. Program and operate laser cutting machinery to streamline component fabrication. Interpret complex blueprints and structural drawings to create accurate material takeoffs. Conduct thorough quality checks on finished assemblies to ensure structural and aesthetic integrity. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area in strict compliance with company standards. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in metal layout, fitup, laser programming, and welding. Proven expertise in TIG and MIG welding, with extensive experience working with stainless steel. Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and work directly from detailed engineering blueprints. Strong skills in performing material takeoffs accurately from technical drawings. Commitment to maintaining high safety and precision standards in a fast-paced shop environment. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Prior trade school completion or technical fabrication certifications. Experience operating automated CNC fabrication equipment and modern laser systems. Advanced background in industrial mechanical and custom shop manufacturing routines.
