We've been in business since 1979, and our team owns the work, the outcomes, and the company. This is a full-time, on-site position in Gahanna. What You'll Do Fabricate a wide variety of structural steel products to customer spec at the fast pace day-order work demands Work from blueprints, drawings, and work orders, planning your own dimensions, layout, and material before you cut Cut, bend, weld, and grind structural steel to spec Set up and run shop equipment (welders, grinders, shears, saws, punches, torch, and notcher) following company safety and OSHA procedure Move between day-order jobs and the column area as the schedule demands Inspect your own work and other fabricators' work for quality Help train the fabricators coming up behind you What You'll Bring Two or more years of experience as a welder/fabricator Completion of a formal welder training program Experience reading and interpreting fabrication blueprints and drawings (strongly preferred) Basic shop math, comfortable reading a tape measure What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Full benefits package Employee ownership through our ESOP We also hold weekly open interviews on Tuesdays between 9AM and Noon.
