Structural Welder - Spray Transfer
MIG/FCAW
(First Shift)
Pay:
$24.00-$28.00 per hour (based on experience) First-shift schedule :
Monday-Thursday:
6:00 AM - 4:00
PM Friday:
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (as needed) Join a growing, family-owned company where quality craftsmanship matters. Due to continued growth and new project opportunities, we're expanding our first-shift team and are looking for a highly skilled Structural Welder to join us. This is a highly skilled structural welding position—not an entry-level welding job. We are seeking an experienced structural welder who can read, interpret, and execute complex structural steel fabrication drawings with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, can work independently, and has the skills to build complex structural steel assemblies safely, accurately, and efficiently. What You'll Do Perform Spray Transfer MIG and Flux Core (FCAW) welding on structural steel components. Read, interpret, and execute complex structural steel fabrication drawings and welding symbols. Fit, tack, and weld structural steel assemblies while maintaining dimensional accuracy. Verify dimensions and ensure completed weldments meet customer specifications and quality standards. Operate grinders, torches, overhead cranes, and other fabrication equipment safely. Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and workmanship. Work independently while collaborating with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of structural steel welding experience required. Must be able to independently read, interpret, and execute structural steel fabrication drawings and welding symbols. Experience with Spray Transfer MIG welding is required. Flux Core (FCAW) experience preferred. Strong fitting and layout skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed. AWS Certification is a plus. Why Join QWF?
