Job Description

Summary:
Cutting Edge Manufacturing, LLC. is a modern Custom Fabrication and Machine Shop located in Fremont, Ohio. We are expanding our capabilities and are looking for an innovative individual to join our team as a Fabricator. This full-time position is responsible for fabrication and assembly of metal structural frames, weldments, guarding for custom equipment, interpreting engineering prints, cutting materials and building to print specifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Quality fabrication of custom equipment and customer projects (frames and robot bases) in a timely fashion according to prints
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures
  • Proper care of company welding equipment and tools
  • Utilize fabrication equipment such as shear, brake, torches, and other miscellaneous hand tools
  • Able to weld strong joints that are dimensionally accurate
  • Follow blueprints and drawings to specifications
  • Produce alterations and additions on purchased parts and add-ons to pre-engineered frameworks or weldments.
  • Communicate to supervisor or area leader regarding equipment, inventory and other concerns
Qualifications:
  • Ability to weld using a MIG or TIG welder
  • Possess organizational skills, follow standard welding procedures, maintain neat and organized work area, keep accurate time entry
  • Punctual, safety conscious, willing to learn, good attitude and a professional appearance
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime, involving weekdays and Saturdays, and occasionally Sundays and Holidays
  • Possess high level of reasoning skills, intermediate math and language skills
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
