We are currently recruiting for Class
A SUBARC
Welders to join our team in Collinsville, OK on 1st shift. Our commitment to quality and innovation make Victory Energy the right choice for your career!
The primary responsibilities include:
Weld in accordance with ASME Code requirements. Maintain welding equipment, tools and supplies in safe working order. Work effectively in a team based environment while maintaining safety standards including proper utilization of all require PPE and following related safety procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS
SUBARC Welding experience (NON
NEGOTIABLE, CANDIDATE MUST HAVE SUBARC EXPEREINCE
) Must consistently demonstrate code quality work. Must pass a Carbon Steel 1" Thick x 12"Long test plate w/ a 45° Single Vee groove welded in the 3G position for the Mig/Flux Core applications and the 1G flat position for the remaining Sub-Arc. Tack the Two halves together with a 1/8" open root. Apply a Mig root weld. Apply 3 layers of Flux Core filler metal. Lay the plate down in the 1G position and Sub-Arc the groove until full. Complete knowledge of blue print interpretation. Ability to work overtime as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Must have physical stamina to stand 8 or more hours per day and operate welding equipment. Position requires standing or walking most of the workday and frequently involves stooping and kneeling. Must possess sufficient visual acuity and depth perception to complete job tasks. Must possess manual dexterity such as reaching, handling, fingering and touching to effectively handle material and operate welding equipment safely. Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial boiler manufacturing, and apply appropriate safety equipment when required. Must be able to lift / maneuver 50lbs unassisted using proper safety techniques and/or equipment. Selected candidates must successfully clear all pre-employment screenings.
